A set of Areas across the UK have agreed Investment Funds through their respective Devolution/Growth/City Deal signed with HM Government. SQW led the National Evaluation Panel which evaluated the progress and impact of these long-term devolved Investment Funds in ten local areas across the UK over 2016-2020. We have now been commissioned by DLUHC to support the second Gateway Reviews for the same ten local areas, and Gateway Reviews for a further three areas.

The British Film Institute’s Heritage 2022 Programme is a National Lottery funded preservation-led Programme. Following an earlier mid-term assessment of the Programme, SQW has been commissioned to undertake an interim evaluation of the Programme, and provide an early view of its scale, outputs and impact.

We're leading a consortium to examine the impact of youth activities such as youth clubs, on young people and their communities over time. The research is for DCMS and comprises three strands: a longitudinal analysis of datasets including the British Cohort Study and Millennium Cohort Study; an international literature review, and; a local-level analysis of the impact of youth club closures on young people and their communities.
