SQW has been commissioned by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to deliver a mid-term evaluation of the Smart Data Research UK (SDR UK) programme - designed to harness the potential of new forms of data for research and innovation to address social and economic challenges.

SQW has been commissioned by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) to deliver the final impact evaluation of the 5G Testbeds and Trials (5GTT) programme - the UK’s flagship initiative to accelerate the development and adoption of 5G technologies.

SQW has been appointed as the evaluation partner for Greater Manchester’s Economic Inactivity Trailblazer by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).
September 2025
SQW has been commissioned by Innovate UK to develop an impact evaluation framework, and then conduct the impact evaluation of the Innovation Accelerator programme. The evaluation framework was finalised in summer 2025 and the interim evaluation will take place over Autumn 2025, with the final evaluation scheduled for 2027.
