The Office for Students and Research England launched the £10m Student Engagement in Knowledge Exchange programme in 2020 to develop the evidence base on the nature of, and benefits from, student engagement in knowledge exchange activities. SQW was appointed to evaluate the programme.

TASO commissioned SQW to conduct evaluations of two universities’ interventions designed to improve employability outcomes for students for disadvantaged and underrepresented groups.

In 2022, SQW was commissioned by London Councils to undertake an evaluation of the London JETS programme to understand what was working well and less well with programme delivery and what lead to higher outcomes for programme beneficiaries.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. The CQC commissioned SQW to deliver a rapid literature review, focusing on improvement cultures in health and adult social care.

SQW partnered with the British Business Bank on the “Finding What Works" report, which provides three clear, actionable, and evidence-based pathways to improve diversity in UK venture capital investment.

Looking ahead to 2040, Harwell Campus commissioned SQW to complete a programme of independent research to inform a debate about the changing nature and role of these campuses.
