Our chapter in the recently-published book, Productivity Perspectives, reviewed the changes in aspects of productivity policy from 1997 to 2018. It traced the overarching narrative associated with productivity policy, and focussed in on policies relating to innovation, business support, skills and regional development.

Research England, alongside several partners, commissioned SQW to conduct a literature review on the concept of the entrepreneurial university ecosystem, develop a high level conceptual model of a ‘general’ entrepreneurial ecosystem, and produce a technical note outlining the options available to compile further evidence.

Arts Council England invested £1.8 million into the Building Resilience programme which focused on exploring and piloting different approaches to long term sustainability, to increase resilience across the sector.

Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) is an approach to joining up health and social care, and other services where appropriate. The Department of Health and Social Care commissioned an SQW led consortium to undertake an independent evaluation of IPC. The report has now been published.
