SQW has been appointed by The Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) to build the evidence base for what works to improve employment and employability outcomes for students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. We will be working with the University of Brighton and the University of Exeter to develop evaluation plans and theories of change for interventions relating to employability.

A set of Areas across the UK have agreed Investment Funds through their respective Devolution/Growth/City Deal signed with HM Government. SQW led the National Evaluation Panel which evaluated the progress and impact of these long-term devolved Investment Funds in ten local areas across the UK over 2016-2020. We have now been commissioned by DLUHC to support the second Gateway Reviews for the same ten local areas, and Gateway Reviews for a further three areas.
