Sarah Brown is an Associate Director at SQW. She joined SQW in 2014. Sarah specialises in evaluation, including designing and delivering process and impact evaluations. She has particular expertise in developing theories of change and evaluating pilot projects. Her main focus is on health and social care as well as children and young people, and innovation. Clients include NHS England, the Health Foundation, the Department for Education, UK Research and Innovation, Innovate UK, and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Recent examples of her work include a multi-year formative and impact evaluation of Macmillan’s Local Authority Partnership Programme and research for the Clinical Review of Access Standards for NHS England. Sarah is currently managing evaluations of the Health Foundation’s Common Ambition Programme and the Transforming Foundation Industries Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund for UK Research and Innovation.
