Tatton Park Economic Impact Assessment

Client: Cheshire East Council

Tatton Park in Cheshire is an important heritage attraction maintained and managed by Cheshire East Council, on behalf of the National Trust. It is a popular visitor destination which boasts a neo-classical mansion house, a farm and 1,000 acres of deer park.

Cheshire East Council commissioned SQW to undertake an economic and social impact study of Tatton Park designed to assess the contributions of the Park to the local and regional economy. Additionally, the SQW study team sought to explore the potential beneficial impacts of the Park on the health and well-being of visitors. The study built on previous impact studies, including the 2006 study carried out by SQW.
