We are delighted to announce that SQW has been appointed to be part of the new Strategic Research and Economic Analysis Framework which has been set up by Homes England. Our appointment reflects the range of work that we have been undertaking over recent years.

To make sure we got outside during the dark winter days working from home, SQW set itself a challenge; a 1,500km virtual round trip of our offices which became a ‘Grand Tour’ to support the mental health charity, Mind.

The Office for Students and Research England launched the £10m ‘Student Engagement in Knowledge Exchange’ competition to develop the evidence base on the nature of, and benefits from, student engagement in knowledge exchange activities. SQW has been appointed to conduct an evaluation of the competition.
May 2020
SQW led the National Evaluation Panel which evaluated the progress and impact of long-term devolved Investment Funds in ten local areas across the UK. In May 2020, the outcome of the first Gateway Reviews confirmed that sufficient progress had been made to support the next tranche of funding, unlocking over £500m of funding to support local economic growth priorities across three areas.
