Joe Duggett is an SQW Director who brings 20 years experience in economic development consultancy. His clients include government departments and devolved administrations across the UK, national and regional economic development agencies, local authorities and partnerships, and universities and research institutions.

His recent work has focused particularly on interventions and investments seeking to enhance the capacity, and exploit the potential, of the science and research base to deliver positive economic and societal outcomes, including though collaborative R&D and innovation, research commercialisation, knowledge exchange, and support for the transition to net zero.  

A specialist evaluator, Joe brings considerable experience across the full evaluation spectrum, including both empirical and theory-based methods for impact evaluation, process and value for money evaluation, and evaluation framework design and capacity development.
