SQW, in partnership with UK Youth and supported by a youth panel, was commissioned by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) to undertake research who is more or less likely to participate in youth activities, the barriers and enablers that explain this. It also sought to identify ways to increase young people’s participation and satisfaction.
