We have worked closely with partners from Greater Manchester's Graphene, Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Alliance to support the development of the Sustainable Materials Translational Research Centre (SMTRC) vision. We are delighted to see the Pilots for the SMTRC initiative awarded funding from the Innovation Accelerator.

Jonathan Cook, an SQW Director, has been appointed to the UK Government Evaluation & Trial Advice Panel (ETAP) to support the design and delivery of robust, high-quality evaluation across government.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. CQC has commissioned SQW to deliver a rapid literature review, focusing on improvement cultures in health and adult social care.
February 2021
SQW has been appointed by The Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) to build the evidence base for what works to improve employment and employability outcomes for students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. We will be working with the University of Brighton and the University of Exeter to develop evaluation plans and theories of change for interventions relating to employability.
