Chris Green joined SQW during the early stages of its development in 1986, and he was Managing Director of SQW Ltd for eight years, and subsequently Chief Executive of the SQW Group for nine years.
Chris has over 35 years experience of economic development and planning work in public and private sectors, including 25 years in consulting and 10 years in local government in the UK and Australia. He has particularly strong experience in relation to innovation and technology-based development, and at the interface between economic and spatial development. This includes policy development and evaluation, and project design and delivery. He has worked in over 30 countries worldwide as well as throughout the UK for clients ranging from the World Bank and the European Commission to national and local governments, major charities and private developers.
He was responsible for setting up SQW's office in Hong Kong and has led many large, complex and multi-disciplinary consultancy contracts. Chris is a long-term member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
